Funding for our Qualifications

Education and Skills Funding Agency

The ESFA brings together the former responsibilities of the Education Funding Agency (EFA) and Skills Funding Agency (SFA) to create a single agency accountable for funding education and skills for children, young people and adults.

As part of this duty, the ESFA approves qualifications for funding within England and sets the funding rates. To be able to access funding for approved qualifications your organisation will need to hold a contract with the ESFA, please note SFEDI Awards does not hold funding contracts or provide funding for our qualifications.
