You may have seen the recent press release regarding the New Enterprise Allowance which has now been extended to help an extra 33,000 aspiring entrepreneurs to start up their own business.
Job seekers will now be provided with instant access to support when they claim Jobseekers Allowance instead of the 6-months wait that people currently have prior to accessing the scheme with the deadlines for referrals being extended to December 2013.
Under the scheme jobseekers who are interested in starting their own business are allocated to a mentor who provides guidance and support in drawing up a business plan ready to apply for funding to help get their enterprise off the ground.
SFEDI Awards qualifications have provided our centres delivering the New Enterprise Allowance scheme the vehicle to offer detailed and structured support to their customers making sure they are fully prepared for the world of owner-management. And don’t forget that those going through SFEDI Awards qualifications receive 1 years free study membership of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs allowing them online access to further support in helping them start their business.
If you would like to talk through how our qualifications can help with the delivery of the New Enterprise Allowance scheme then contact our Customer Service Team on [email protected] and a member of the team will be more than happy to help.
