** National Meet a Mentor Events
————————————————————
IOEE mentors and mentees were speed mentoring at the fifth Meet A Mentor event of the year this week in London creating some great new networks in order to support both establishing and growing UK enterprises.
If you’ve not had chance to attend so far, don’t worry, there are still a few places (not many so sign up asap!) at the next Meet A Mentor event in London (http://ioee.us2.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=9ed5d562829c6bdeac4d9b8b7&id=a5685b6da4&e=929ea14861) which the IOEE is running in collaboration with the London Chamber of Commerce.
There are also some Meet A Mentor specials planned too. A Festival of Business Special in Liverpool on the 30th June, a Farming Special in Birmingham in July, and a Family Business Special in September. Watch this space for further details soon.
** Apprenticemakers Goes from Strength to Strength
————————————————————
SFEDI Awards, as proud supporters of the Apprenticemakers (http://apprenticemakers.org.uk/) movement, is delighted to see the launch of the new website already making huge differences across the nation to micro and small businesses and their willingness to take on apprentices to further strengthen their business.
The objective of Apprenticemakers is to encourage peer to peer support between businesses so that many more small businesses go on to recruit apprentices to help them grow their businesses and develop the skills of their future workforce.
