** Launch of High Level Innovation and Growth Qualification
————————————————————

SFEDI Awards is excited to announce the launch of our exciting new Level 5 Diploma in Innovation and Growth.

An innovative company is a growing and sustainable one and needs to recruit and develop innovative and entrepreneurial thinkers.

This qualification is designed to support the development of an innovative mindset whilst encouraging the development of high level management and planning abilities.

** New Feature for our Registr8 System
————————————————————
The latest update to our Registr8 registration and certification system has been launched today. Now you are able to fully manage the relationships between your head office and all of your delivery locations.

The new feature will allow you to:
* Link multiple delivery locations to your Registr8 account
* Invoice each of your locations individually or merge all into one for your Head Office account
* Register and claim certificates either at the delivery location level or centrally through your Head Office account
* Certificates sent to one central location or direct to the delivery centre

We will be contacting the main contacts within each of our delivery centres over the next week in order to talk through the new features and to set everything up for you.

** SFEDI Presents Small Business Mentor of the Year Award

A businesswoman from Derby is celebrating success in the International Association of Book-keepers (IAB) Finance and Small Business Awards.

Laura Kaye Tomlinson of Oakwood in Derby was presented the award for Small Business Mentor of the Year by Ruth Lowbridge, Executive Director of SFEDI and the IOEE.

** Export Mentoring Club – 25th June

Are you supporting customers running companies who are considering exporting but dismissed it as too difficult? This event might be just what they need.

Run by the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs in conjunction with the British Bankers’ Association (BBA), UK Trade and Investment and UK Export Finance, the event will provide an introduction to exporting and understanding markets, and will answer some of the most common questions, such as; How will I get paid? What are the risks? And, how do I get the funding I need?

** Meet a Mentor – Liverpool and Birmingham

The hugely popular Meet A Mentor events continue with two more scheduled for the first week in July.

The first is running alongside Liverpool’s International Festival for Business on the 1st July, and the second is a farming and agricultural special being held at the Livestock Exhibition in Birmingham on the 3rd July.

** Lloyds Enterprise Awards 2014

The search for Britain’s best student and graduate entrepreneurial talent kicked off in May as Lloyds Bank launched their 2014 Enterprise Awards to celebrate and recognise the top businesses of tomorrow.

The awards, now in their third year, are open to entrepreneurs currently studying at universities across Britain or those who have graduated within the past five years and have been trading for more than one year. ** SFEDI Awards Policies Update

Don’t forget that, following requests from our centre network, you can now see the latest policies for SFEDI Awards on our website.

A number of centres have requested clarification regarding our 4 week registration rule. A centre has a period of 4 weeks from the time of a learner beginning their programme in order to register them for their qualification.

Don’t forget that the registration process must have been completed prior to the internal or external quality assurance processes taking place.
